The transition of trade, which is one of the most important issues of today's world, from locality to globalisation has become a necessity rather than a preference for every sector. Regional achievements are no longer sufficient and it is inevitable to enter the field of international competition. However, international trade brings challenges as well as opportunities. One of the most important stages of international trade is customs procedures and practices. Customs practices with a large number, different characteristics and various applications cover the most important stages of international trade. Moreover, the slightest non-compliance with these practices and rules can cause serious problems.

In addition to the necessity of a good knowledge of customs practices and rules related to international trade, it is also essential for competition and success. Therefore, the existence of competent, global vision employees equipped with highly technical, detailed and constantly updated information is of indispensable critical importance. The ‘Customs Management’ programme within our university aims to provide a qualified workforce that has competent expertise and can meet the requirements at international level.
